PLANNER: RESEARCHER/WRITER POSITION

PBR HAWAII & Associates, Inc., a multi-disciplinary urban planning and landscape architecture firm, seeks a talented researcher/writer to join our Honolulu office. This position involves preparing various environmental planning documents and land use permit applications.
Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in urban planning, English, journalism, communication, liberal arts, social science, natural/physical/environmental science, law, legal studies, real estate/development, or a related writing field
• Strong research, analytical, writing, oral communication, and organizational abilities
• Superb attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• A collaborative team player committed to maintaining a positive work environment

• Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience as an environmental planner or in a similar role preparing environmental assessments, environmental impact statements, and state/county land use permit applications
• Knowledge of NEPA, Chapter 343 HRS, and other federal, state, and county environmental/land use policies, plans, and regulations
