Position: Event Runner (Temporary)
Event: Client meetings and guest hospitality during a major industry conference week
Location: Honolulu, HI (on site)
Dates: January 13- 20, 2027 – 8 days
Hours: Approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily
(Please note: dates and hours may vary based on needs as the event comes closer)
Pay: $20 – $30 per hour

Ideal for: College students and entry-level candidates, Must have a valid drivers license

About the Role
1547 Critical Systems Realty is looking for energetic, dependable Event Runners to support our team in Honolulu during a major conference week. Our team will be hosting clients, partners, and guests for meetings throughout the week.
As a Runner, you'll be the go-to person keeping our on-site operations running smoothly. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience at a major international business conference and meet professionals across the telecommunications industry.

Responsibilities
● Greet and escort guests to meetings, suites, and event spaces
● Manage elevator access and help guests navigate the venue
● Distribute badges and assist with guest check-in
● Make deliveries of materials, packages, and supplies around the venue
● Run off-site errands as needed, such as picking up and dropping off supplies, groceries, catering, or materials
● Keep meeting rooms stocked with water and coffee
● Provide general on-site support to the 1547 team as needs arise

Qualifications
● College student or entry-level candidate; no prior event experience required
● Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with senior business guests
● Reliable and punctual, with the ability to commit to all scheduled event days
● Able to stay on your feet and walk throughout the venue for full shifts
● Able to carry light supplies (cases of water, boxes of materials)
● Clear communicator who can take direction and also use good judgment independently
● Business casual attire required
● Required: Access to a car, a valid driver's license, and willingness to make local pickups and drop-offs as needed
Schedule & Compensation

This is a short-term, temporary position lasting 4 to 6 days on site, with shifts of 8 to 9 hours per day (typically 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
Pay is $20 to $30 per hour depending on experience, for an estimated total of $800 to $1,800 for the engagement.
