Christopher Flaherty is Chairman and CEO, of 3 Leaf Holdings, Inc., a Hawaii Corporation and small family office. Flaherty’s experience over the past 25 years includes development in apartment, commercial/retail and single family, condo and townhome residential and hotel properties in Hawaii, California, Texas and Arizona. He and his related holdings have developed and or acquired over 2,000 residential units to date in 4 states along with over 200,000 square feet of commercial/retail properties.
Mr. Flaherty is a Co-Managing partner of numerous companies including Ikenakea Development, LLC, DFA Development, LLC, Pupukahi Development, LLC, Ho‘okahua Development, LLC, Laulima Development, LLC, WXSW, Inc., and Ikenakea Hokele, LLC. He is also the majority shareholder of Trinity Development & Construction, Inc., a Hawaii and California general contracting company.
Flaherty’s expertise in development and construction has allowed him to orchestrate every phase of a development project, from site selection to assessing environmental impacts and working through financing options and land entitlements. Chris’ expertise in understanding the capital markets and the utilization of financing from low-income housing tax credits, tax-exempt bonds and conventional financing structures has enabled him to close in excess of a half a billion dollars in capital transactions for projects in which he is a sponsor.
Robby Kelley

Avalon Development Company and Avalon Energy
Robby Kelley is Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer of Avalon Development Company, where he plays an integral role in managing the company’s largest projects. His responsibilities at Avalon include acquisitions, permitting and planning, sales/leasing, property management, investor relations, and capital planning. Robby is currently overseeing various projects in downtown Honolulu, including Pickles at Forté, Topa Towers, and Davies Pacific Center, as Avalon continues its revitalization efforts.
Prior to joining Avalon, Robby worked in commercial real estate brokerage with CBRE and JLL. He is a graduate of Duke University and later completed a dual-degree in Law and business management from the University of San Diego. Robby is also President of Avalon Energy, the entity that is developing sustainable energy options for Avalon's projects.
Michael Young
President & CEO
Albert C. Kobayashi, Inc.
Michael Young is the President and CEO of Albert C. Kobayashi, Inc. (ACK), a 100% employee owned Hawaii general contractor. As a licensed civil engineer and the RME for ACK, he oversees all strategy, operations, and financials for the company. Michael was born and raised in Hawaii and is a graduate of Iolani School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and B.S. in Economics, and Stanford University with an M.S. in Construction Engineering and Management.
He is involved with various community organizations, serving on the boards of Child and Family Service, HomeAid Hawaii, Island Pacific Academy, General Contractors Association of Hawaii, Capitol Place AOAO, and the Carpenter’s Union Trust Funds. He is also a Pacific Century Fellow and member of the Young’s President’s Organization. Michael’s hobbies include tennis, golf, and spending time with his wife and three children.
