Christine Belcaid

Christine Belcaid is a partner in Dentons' Honolulu office and a member of Dentons’ Employment & Labor practice group.
Christine represents employers in all aspects of litigation, from discovery to mapping motion and trial strategy, as well as appeals. In addition, Christine’s practice includes a broad range of commercial litigation. She also handles pre-litigation matters on behalf of employers, including internal investigations and administrative proceedings before the Hawai`i Civil Rights Commission and US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
In addition to formal litigation and administrative claims, Christine regularly provides guidance to employers regarding compliance with various federal, state and local employment laws. In this counseling role, she advises clients on employment policies and drafting of employment-related agreements. Christine’s experience spans a number of industries, including retail, condominium/property management, health care, hospitality, food production, and education. She also has extensive experience practicing traditional labor law, including defending unfair labor practices before the National Labor Relations Board, countering union organizing efforts, and arbitrating union grievances.
During law school, Christine interned with New Hampshire Legal Aid, the National Labor Relations Board, and Harvard University's Office of Labor and Employee Relations. Prior to law school, Christine worked primarily in the hospitality and real estate industries.
Christine is committed to giving back to the Hawai`i community. She is on the Board of the Friends of the Lyon Arboretum and volunteers at Therapeutic Horsemanship of Hawai`i in Waimanalo.
Alexina Chai
Director of HR
American Savings Bank
Alexina Chai oversees American Savings Bank (ASB)'s Human Resources, Learning & Development, and Organizational Development teams, where she drives talent strategies and partners with the bank's leaders to create a great place to work while enhancing business performance.
She has held senior roles, including Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Alexander & Baldwin, as well as positions at UnitedHealth Group, American Express and Aon Hewitt.
Passionate about helping others thrive, she mentors through Menttium, a women’s mentoring organization, and serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Women’s Fund of Hawaii. Her previous board service includes the Montessori Community School in Manoa. She is also a member of the Organization Development Network and the Association of Talent Development. Alexina’s achievements in leadership and human resources earned her recognition as a Pacific Business News Women Who Mean Business honoree.
Alexina holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Carleton College and a master’s degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University. She also earned a mini-master’s certificate in human capital management from the University of St. Thomas. In Aug. 2024, she graduated from the prestigious Pacific Coast Banking School (PCBS), earning a graduate-level diploma in financial services leadership and an Executive Leadership Certificate from the University of Washington Foster School of Business.
In her free time, Alexina enjoys practicing yoga, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Governor Josh Green, M.D.
State of Hawaii
Governor Josh Green is a proud husband, father, physician, and Hawaiʻiʻs ninth governor. Raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Governor Green received his degree in both biology and anthropology from Swarthmore College and his M.D. from Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center at Pennsylvania State University. After graduating medical school he completed his residency in Family Practice. He was then awarded a National Health Service Corps scholarship and chose a position to practice medicine in the underserved area of Kā’ū on the Big Island of Hawai’i.
Throughout his legislative career, Governor Green practiced emergency room medicine in the rural areas of the Big Island. He has twice been named Physician of the Year by the Hawai‘i Medical Association, most recently in 2022 for his leadership and service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Governor Green is married to Jaime Kanani Green and they have two children, Maia and Sam. Like many local families, they enjoy playing games together, going on family walks, and shopping at farmers markets. Governor Green remains an avid fan of his hometown football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Governor Green is inspired by the hopes, challenges and values of Hawai‘i’s families that encourage him to do his part for the people of our islands — and he is honored to serve as Governor.
Brett Heineman

As the General Manager of Health & Wellness at ProSerivce, Brett is responsible for ensuring ProService offers the best health & wellness programs possible to clients. Brett is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and has 20 years of experience in the health insurance industry. His experience has spanned a diverse range of topics including actuarial services, provider contracting , wellness & disease management program assessment and consulting.
Margarete Hester, SHRM-CP
Group Human Resources Manager

Margarete Hester, SHRM-CP is the Group Human Resources Manager at EAN Holdings, LLC and oversees the Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and Generalist departments on Oahu, Big Island, Maui/Molokai, and Kauai. She has over 25 years of Human Resources experience working in the United States and Canada. She served on the SHRM Hawaii Board as the Co-Chair for the Communication & Marketing Committee in 2020 and 2021 and is the Co-Chair for the Hawaii State Conference Committee for 2025. She is a National and Local SHRM Hawaii member. She is active with the Disability:IN Chapter in Oahu that promotes disability inclusion by heightening awareness, advising corporations, and sharing proven strategies for including people with disabilities in the workplace, supply chain, and marketplace. She is currently a volunteer as a Patient Advisor on the Oahu Kaiser Permanente PFCC (Person and Family Centered Care) Committee since 2018.

Louise K.Y. Ing is a partner in Dentons' Honolulu office. Louise believes the better you know the community, the more you can help your client. Her deep connections to local businesses and nonprofits allow her to make the most of relationships relevant to her clients’ business.
Louise’s practice focuses on helping businesses, nonprofits and individuals resolve disputes, and get back to work as well as prevent future conflict. Her litigation and dispute resolution experience includes contracts, commercial transactions, leases, employment, real estate, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy law, proprietary rights, board governance, and intellectual property matters.
To help strengthen Hawaii's communities, Louise has devoted considerable energy serving on nonprofit and for-profit boards. She currently serves on the boards of Child & Family Service and Kristi Yamaguchi’s Always Dream. She is a past director of The Tradewind Group, American Savings Bank and Aloha Airlines. She also served as a past president of the Hawaii State Bar Association and the Hawaii State Bar Foundation. She currently co-chairs the Hawai`i chapter of Women Corporate Directors, the world’s largest community of women corporate directors.

Derek Kanehira

Derek is Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Alexander & Baldwin, where he provides strategic HR leadership and oversees people solutions including executive compensation, organizational development, total rewards, employee experience, office services, and facilities. Prior to A&B, Derek served as Vice President & Director of HR Services at Hawaii Employers Council.
Derek is an appointed council member on the State’s Workforce Development Council and a member of the State’s Prepaid Health Care Advisory Council. He also serves as a board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii, a member of Make-A-Wish Hawaii’s wish granting committee, a director of the Hawaii Compensation Group, and executive committee member of Nareit’s Social Responsibility Council.
Sherry Menor-McNamara

Sherry Menor was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii on September 1, 2013. She is the youngest and first female President and CEO in the Chamber’s 174-year history, as well as the first Asian to serve as the leader of a State Chamber in the nation.
She has lived in several major cities, including Tokyo, New York, Washington D.C., Los Angeles and London, working for a wide variety of companies, including: Sony Corporation, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Estee Lauder Company, Field Group, Elton John Productions and “60 Minutes”. Her government-related work includes positions with the Hawaii State Legislature, U.S. Senator Daniel Akaka and the Executive Office of the United States President. Menor currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Hawaiian Humane Society. Nationally, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) and the U.S. Chamber’s Committee of 100. She previously served on the boards of the Hawaii Tourism Authority and Girl Scouts of Hawaii, and nationally, on the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Council of State Chambers (COSC), and Western Association of Chamber Executives (WACE). Under her leadership, the Chamber won the 2018 ACCE State Chamber of the Year, and in 2019, won two national Council of State Chambers awards.
David Tumilowicz
Senior Director of Marketing and Community Health

David Tumilowicz is senior director of marketing and community health for Kaiser Permanente. Prior to his current role, Tumilowicz served in a variety of positions including director of account management, director of sales operations and strategic market planning, and director of business engagement.
Tumilowicz was formerly publisher of Hawaii Business and Hawaii magazines, and as vice-president at PacificBasin Communications, Hawaii’s largest magazine publishing house. During his time at Hawaii Business, Tumilowicz founded Hawaii’s largest conference for businesswomen and community leaders, the Wahine Forum.
Tumilowicz is invested serving the Hawaii community. He currently serves as a board member on the Oahu Economic Development Board, Kapolei Chamber of Commerce, and Domestic Violence Action Center. He is an alumnus of the Pacific Century Fellows leadership program and the Kaiser Permanente Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
Tumilowicz holds his BA in Sociology from the Pennsylvania State University and a MA in Sociology from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
