Jennings Imel

Before joining the U.S. Chamber staff in 2013, Jennings worked in Washington, DC at the U.S. Association of Former Members of Congress and at the public affairs firm of Mercury, Clark & Weinstock. Prior to moving to DC, Jennings worked in the California State Assembly; he also managed and worked on several successful congressional and state legislative campaigns, mostly in the Southern California region.
Jennings received a master's degree in international affairs from The George Washington University and bachelor's degrees in political science and German from the University of California, Riverside.
Dan Kouchi
Small Business Support, Administrator
Chamber of Commerce Hawaii
As Small Business Support Administrator, Dan Kouchi is responsible for helping to support the Chamber and its members with advocacy and policy on the federal, state and county levels.
Prior to joining the Chamber, Dan spent the last seven years working for members of the Hawaii Congressional Delegation in Washington, D.C. As Legislative Assistant to former U.S. Congresswoman Colleen Hanabusa, he worked closely with members of Hawaii's military community to ensure that Hawaii priorities were included in the National Defense Authorization Act. His portfolio also included transportation, small business and other legislative issues. As Legislative Aide to U.S. Senator Mazie K. Hirono, Dan oversaw issues before the Senate Small Business Committee and worked closely with the Chamber on its annual Hawaii on the Hill event. Dan's experience also includes roles in the late Senators Daniel K. Inouye and Daniel K. Akaka's Washington, D.C. offices.
Dan was born and raised in Lihue, Kauai and received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from The College of Idaho.

Kurt Osaki is a graphic designer and founder and president of Osaki Creative Group. He studied at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena and went on to create brands for Fortune 500 clients, including the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets. Osaki serves on many nonprofit boards, including Chamber of Commerce Hawaii.
