His portfolio also included transportation\, small business and other legislative issues. As Legislative Aide to U.S. Senator Mazie K. Hirono\, Dan oversaw issues before the Senate Small Business Committee and worked closely with the Chamber on its annual Hawaii on the Hill event. Dan's experience also includes roles in the late Senators Daniel K. Inouye and Daniel K.
