Ulupono Initiative is a Hawaii-focused impact investment firm. Ulupono – meaning to prosper through the right, or pono, path – is rooted in the local wisdom that a healthy environment and a healthy economy go hand in hand. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for island residents in four areas: more locally produced food, more renewable energy, more clean transportation options, and better management of freshwater resources. By supporting local efforts to improve our economy and environment, Ulupono Initiative ultimately aims to enrich the lives of Hawaii's people.
