September is National Workforce Development Month

September is National Workforce Development Month and the search is on for HAWAII’S 2024 WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT HEROES.

Do you know someone who, despite their hectic personal schedule and daily pressures, continues to give of themselves, often beyond the call of duty. This person knows that a rising tide raises all ships -- when our workforce succeeds, the economy improves and our community succeeds. Through their outstanding work, our work force development professionals have made our Hawaii a better place for all.

Nominate someone you know who goes above and beyond not just within their own organizations, but throughout the workforce development community. There will be six winners: two from Oahu, one from Maui, one from Kauai, one from the Big Island, and a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Deadline for nominations is Monday, September 16, 2024 and the winners will be announced and will be celebrated at the Future of Work Conference on September 30, 2024.
