About Us

Child & Family Service (CFS) is one of Hawaii’s largest nonprofits and has been strengthening families for 117 years. We offer nearly 50 community programs statewide to help families to change their lives in positive and empowering ways. Programs include preschool education, child abuse and neglect prevention, alternative education for at-risk youth, domestic violence emergency services, therapeutic counseling, employment assistance, and programs for elder care.
