About Us

Empowered Firm is a Hawaii-based transferability advisory firm for founder-led businesses.

We help business owners make their company easier for the right buyer to understand, trust, transfer, and say yes to.

Through PeerExit, our buyer-readiness pathway, we look at the business the way a serious buyer will: how it makes money, what still depends on the owner, what transfers, what can be verified, and where uncertainty may create discounts, delays, or lost leverage.

Our work focuses on three things: Deal-Box Fit, Transferability, and Value Defensibility.

The goal is not to push every owner toward a sale. Some should sell. Some should hold. Some need to strengthen the business first, bring in an operator, or prepare longer.

We help owners understand what buyers will question, protect what they built, and choose the right path before urgency controls the terms.

Empowered Firm provides buyer-readiness advisory and implementation support. Formal M&A representation, legal, tax, accounting, valuation, and investment advice are separate.
