POSITION SUMMARY

Knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code 2020).
 
Able to do material take-off.
 
Estimate job time and complete job according to NEC Code.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete jobs in a timely manner.
 
Supervise 1-2 apprentices.
 
QUALIFICATIONS 
 
Previous Electrician experience.
 
Must carry and have a Hawaii State EJ license.
 
Critical thinking a must.  Problem solving skills, determine issues and solutions.
 
Excellent customer service.

Provide driver abstract.  Able to pass pre-employment testing.
 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent.
 
Completed training with an apprenticeship. 
 
144 hours of technical training and 2,000 hours of hands-on experience.
 
 
EQUIPMENT, MACHINES, VEHICLE
 
Use of personal vehicle to and from each job.
 
Must have own tools – (Screwdrivers, Pliers, Side-Cutting pliers, Tongue and Groove pliers, Pipe reamer, Wire strippers, Fish tape, Fish poles, measuring tape, Labeler, Drill, Saw, Digital multimeter, non-contact voltage tester).
 
Able to lift equipment and materials.
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT
 
Indoor and outdoor environments – exposure to hot and cold temperatures and different weather conditions. 
 
Fast pace. 
 
WORK SCHEDULE
 
FT or PT – Flexible - Monday to Saturday
