The Service Attendant will be responsible for the companies incoming & outgoing mail, restocking and ordering of supplies, upkeeping of all shared spaces, and light facility repairs.


Mail Clerk:

  • Opens, sorts and distributes incoming mail (non-claims).
  • Operates postage machine; adds postage to outgoing company mail.
  • Drops off mail to mailbox.
  • Operates folding machine.
  • Maintains postage supplies.
  • Maintains postage and folding machine.
  • Maintains mailroom supplies.
  • Delivers boxes and other items to floor.
  • Other duties as assigned. 
  • Responsible for light cleaning of basement, 1st floor, and 2nd floor.
  • Maintains the espresso coffee machine.  Ensures supplies are stocked and reports any issues to the VP of Admin.   
  • Daily cleaning of all 2nd floor shared spaces, including wiping down of tables & chairs, countertops, microwave ovens and floors, basement and 1st floor.
  • Notify employees of weekly cleanout of refrigerator and freezer.
  • Removes trash from all floors, as needed.
  • Restock supplies for 2nd floor.
  • Refill kitchen and bathroom supplies, as needed.
  • Maintain building supplies.
  • Light facility repairs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Relieves the receptionist on a daily basis for lunch and at other times as needed.
  • Prepares new hire supplies.
  • Manages HEMIC/EPIC/HIMI stationary supplies. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to perform light facility repairs.
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information. 
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills, including outlook, excel, word.
  • Basic knowledge of office machines (copier, printer, postage machine).
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Must be responsible and dependable.
  • Must be able to work independently.
