Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Prepare reports and correspondence.  Analyze information and report results to the Principal Broker and/or Property Owners.
  2. Keep updated on current company policies, procedures, State and Federal regulations, Hawaii Revised Statutes, Hawaii Landlord Tenant Code HRS 521, Hawaii Administrative Rules, and Federal Regulations.
  3. Keep updated with the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
  4. Monthly reconciliation of invoices and expenses.  Prepare monthly owner statements ensuring compliance with company policies and requirements. Review for accuracy.  Able to research, prepare answers to questions that property owners or tenants may have.
  5. Posting of vacant properties, filing proper documentation. Creating work order request for repairs.
  6. Other Duties as Assigned
     
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma required.
  2. Organized able to prioritize tasks.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication.
  4. Team player, develop relationships with internal and external organizations, groups.
  5. Able to operate phones, copiers, computers including Microsoft programs, word processing and Excel and more. Knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, federal and state laws, rules, regulations and systems associated with accounting and/or business management.
  6. Accounting experience preferred.
  7. Understand state and federal regulations and mandates, specifically as they apply to the fiscal matters, procurement, grants and contracts to ensure compliance.
