DESCRIPTION:Business is done on the golf course\, whether through taking out clients or participating in golf tournaments. Looking to get started or improve your golf game? Join your fellow YP members for a one-hour golf clinic followed by a 9-hole scramble (play best ball) at the Hoakalei Country Club.\n\n\n\nThis is a great opportunity to play at a members-only private club. The clinic will be separated for beginners and intermediate level golfers. The 9-hole scramble will combine beginner and intermediate golfers for a no pressure\, fun game.\n\n \n\nThe clinic will be hosted by Head Professional Jason Jakovac PGA and assistant teaching professionals in partnership with First Tee Hawaii.\n\n \n\nJason Jakovac has been the PGA Head Golf Professional at Hoakalei Country Club since May 2018. Originally from Napa\, California\, Jason has played competitive golf on the high school\, college and professional level. Jason has been teaching juniors and adults for over 10 years and is dedicated to growing the game of golf. \n\n\n\nThe First Tee of Hawaii's mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character\, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. Thanks to golf course partners like Hoakalei Country Club\, makes golf affordable\, accessible and fun for kids. By offering life-skill centered golf classes we aim to make Good Golfers\, Better People. \n\n \n\nThere are also opportunities to get involved with the First Tee of Hawaii ahead of the clinic! First tee will be hosting a volunteer coach training on July 25th at Bayview GC from 5:30 to 7 pm.
