Power in Every Outfit: YP Wahine Giving Back!

Join us for a YP Wahine-led community service initiative in support of the YWCA Oahu Dress for Success program!

Dress for Success is about more than just a new outfit—it’s about building confidence and empowering women to break the cycle of poverty. The program helps women achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools needed to thrive in work and in life.

YWCA Oahu front desk - May 5 & May 7 | 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

Volunteer on Friday, May 8 (Registration is limited to YP Members)
Lend a hand sorting donations! Tasks include unbagging, hanging, and organizing items. All volunteers will receive a bento lunch.

Two shifts are available:

10:00 AM–12:00 PM
12:00–2:00 PM

What to Expect / What to Bring:

Casual, volunteer-friendly attire (comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes)
The space is not air-conditioned and may feel dusty
Bring minimal personal items or a small bag you can keep with you
We recommend bringing a water bottle (a water dispenser will be available)
