Join us for an inspiring YP Professional Development Class presented by Kaiser Permanente on Leading with Compassion and Courage, featuring Ann Teranishi, President and Chief Executive Officer of American Savings Bank.

Ann Teranishi
President & Chief Executive Officer
American Savings Bank
Ann Teranishi is President and CEO of American Savings Bank (ASB) and a member of the ASB Board of Directors.
Ann has been at ASB since 2007. Among her various positions, Ann was responsible for developing an enterprise-wide compliance program, leading the retail credit team to best-in-class fulfillment times for consumer loans, and heading strategic initiatives to enhance the customer experience.
Ann has received awards from Hawaii Business Magazine, Pacific Business News, Girl Scouts of Hawaii and YWCA. She is an Omidyar Fellow and serves on various boards including Hawaii Executive Collaborative, U.S.-Japan Council and Catholic Charities of Hawaii Board of Advisors. She is a trustee for Punahou School and member of the Hawaii Business Roundtable and Hawaii Bankers Association Executive Committee. Ann also serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco’s Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council (12th District).
Ann holds a bachelor’s in international relations and economics from Claremont McKenna College and a Juris Doctor from the University of California Law San Francisco. She is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington’s Graduate School of Business.
