Join us for an engaging and practical YP Professional Development Class presented by Kaiser Permanente on Effective Networking, featuring Gabriel Lee, Chair of the UH Board of Regents and Co-Founder and Partner of digi-Vortex and Food Gurus.
Networking isn’t just about showing up - it’s about knowing what you’re working toward, being intentional about who you connect with, and following through in a meaningful way. In this session, we’ll break down how to move beyond surface-level interactions and build connections that actually support your personal and professional goals.

Gabriel Lee is the Chair of the UH Board of Regents, and Co-Founder and Partner of digital marketing companies digi-Vortex and Food Gurus. Also, on the Board of Directors of Waialae Country Club (2020 as President), Diamond Head Theatre (2005 to 2008 as Chair), Hawaiian Humane Society, and Ahahui Koa Anuenue (2020 to 2022 as Chair).
In 2023, he retired from American Savings Bank as EVP Commercial Markets overseeing Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking and Commercial Real Estate departments.
Past Boards: Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii (2015 to 2017 as Chair), Saint Louis School (2011 to 2013 as Chair), Hawaii Dental Service (2004 to 2008 as Chair), Catholic Charities Family Services (2004 to 2005 as President), and Pacific Links Hawaii Foundation.
He is a graduate of the University of Hawaii (BA Economics), and Dartmouth College, The Amos Tuck School of Business, Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management.

Once we reach the business day before the event, refunds are no longer available due to final guest counts and event preparation.
