Mike Kaya

Mike is the general manager for two community shopping centers in Honolulu- the City Square in Kapalama and the Waimalu Plaza in Aiea. He began his career in commercial management with office and medical buildings in Los Angeles which eventually provided the opportunity to move back to Honolulu to manage retail, office and industrial properties on Oahu and Kauai. Mike took a hiatus from property management during a 17 year stretch with the Honolulu Police Department where he retired as a sergeant in the Narcotics Vice Division. In 2010 he returned to commercial real estate with his father Glenn where he assumed the fiscal and facility management of the two shopping centers.
Mike is a member of the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii, International Council of Shopping Centers, US Japan Council and the 200 Club Honolulu. Born in Honolulu, Mike received a BA from the University of Washington.
Alan Tang

Alan Tang has spent more than four decades helping companies grow and leaders get elected. As a strategist, he provides counsel on business development, marketing, branding, public relations, corporate communications, advertising, digital marketing, crisis communications, and capital funding. Additionally, he has played a key role in many federal, state and local political campaigns over the years. He founded his marketing communications company 25 years ago and in 2012 merged with another agency to create Olomana Loomis. He is on the board of ICOM, a global network of independent agencies and serves as the director for the Asia Pacific region. Alan is married with two grown children, one who just returned from Los Angeles and the other living in Seattle.
Nicky Winter

Achieve Zero
Nicky started with the organization in March of 2016; two months after the organization’s inception in the same year. In Achieve Zero, she found a place that tackles one of the most daunting, complex issues on Oahu and does so with compassion, innovation and human dignity. After six years with the organization, her passion for this work has not wavered and she continues to remain focused on the organization’s mission to End Homelessness. No matter how overwhelming this work gets or how impossible it may seem, her dedication never wavers because despite it all she still believes that unicorns fart rainbows.
