Gina Mangieri

Gina Mangieri is an investigative reporter and anchor with KHON2 in Honolulu, where she leads in-depth reporting on government accountability, public policy, and consumer issues. Known for her rigorous journalism and ability to distill complex issues for broad audiences, Gina has covered critical stories ranging from public safety and environmental concerns to government spending and community impact throughout Hawaii.
Before joining the broadcast team in Hawaii, she worked in both print and broadcast news in major media markets including New York, London, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. Gina also served as editor of Pacific Business News, where she helped launch prominent business recognition programs that elevated the profiles of local entrepreneurs and women in business.
In addition to her journalism career, Gina is a co-founder of The Cole Academy, a network of early-childhood education centers she helped establish to meet community needs in Hawaii. She has been active in civic and community efforts for years, including serving on various nonprofit boards and participating as a Pacific Century Fellow, contributing to initiatives aimed at strengthening Hawaii’s future.
Gina holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism from Northwestern University and an Executive MBA from the University of Hawaii.

A passionate advocate for local talent, Beth shares her insights at events such as the Hawaii Business Magazine Wahine Forum, Pacific Business News Mentoring Monday and YWCA Oahu’s Mink Leadership Series. She is an Omidyar Fellow and serves as board chair for Child & Family Service and Girl Scouts of Hawaii, and as a board member of Hawaii Theatre Center.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Mississippi and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law.
