John Fink is the President & CEO of Aloha United Way. Prior to joining AUW, he worked in media for over 40 years as Vice President & General Manager of KFVE and KHNL, and other roles.
Fink is active in the community and currently services on the boards of many organizations, including Shidler College of Business, Stadium Authority, Kapiolani Community College, Hawaii State Junior Golf Association, Koa Anuenue, Hawaiian Airlines Diamondhead Classic, Kalaheo High School, and Hawaii Bowl.
John received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University.

A respected visionary and leader, AHL’s president and chief executive officer, Bettina Mehnert, FAIA, LEED AP is an indomitable force in the evolution and innovation in Hawaii’s architectural sector. Her novel philosophy of practice blends IT solutions, firm culture, client cultivation, and community service as inseparable filaments of professional leadership, keeping her 74-year-old firm firmly faced towards the future.
In recognition of her unique management style and leadership, Mehnert has been honored with numerous awards and in 2016 was named a Fellow in the American Institute of Architecture (AIA), a prestigious honor held only by 53 architects in Hawaii since 1948.
In 2018, Bettina was appointed by the mayor as one of five commission members of the new Honolulu Climate Change Commission. As the only commissioned member with an architecture and engineering background, Bettina utilizes her expertise in the built environment to advocate for a new era of resiliency.
Bays Lung Rose and Holma
Crystal K. Rose is one of the founding members of Bays Lung Rose and Holma and one of Hawaii’s most accomplished business leaders and creative commercial litigation attorneys. Ms. Rose’s legal endeavors over the past three decades have helped shape the face of Hawai’i business, transforming our community for the better.
Ms. Rose has experience and expertise in corporate governance and serves as a Trustee of the Kamehameha Schools as well as on the Board of Directors of Hawaiian Airlines, Central Pacific Bank and Gentry Homes, Inc. She is active in our community having served as Trustee of The Nature Conservancy, and as a Board Member of Child and Family Services, Boys & Girls Club of Hawai’i, Blue Planet Foundation and as an Advisory Board Member of Catholic Charities.
Ms. Rose was born and raised on the Big Island, and graduated from the Kamehameha Schools, Willamette University and the University of California, Hastings College of Law. She is married to Rick Towill and has two (2) sons, Mark Towill and Ian Towill.
