Brian is a web and mobile app developer, holding patents on core Apple iOS technologies. In 2009, he founded Tapiki, creating mobile games, apps, and web solutions for prestigious clients like the State of Hawaii, Harvard University, Charles Schwab, and more.
As the Founding Mobile Engineer at Ecobot, Brian helped to bring true efficiency and accuracy to wetland scientists with cutting-edge software. He’s also held key positions such as Senior VP and Director of Mobile and Digital Commerce at Bank of Hawaii and Chief Innovation Officer at Mid-Pacific Institute.
At Apple, Brian spearheaded the iCloud UI Engineering team and contributed to iconic products like the iPhone, iCloud, iTunes Music Store, iPhoto, iMovie, iWeb, Motion, and OS X. Brian has five US patents from his work on the iPhone. His web development work garnered a Webby Honoree nomination, and he was recognized as one of Hawaii Business Magazine’s 20 for the Next 20 in 2017.
Recently, Brian completed the Blockchain Bootcamp at the Caltech Center for Technology & Management Education as well as the Blockchain Essentials certificate from Cornell University.

Shaka Guide
As founder of Shaka Guide, Andrew handles all sales, marketing, creative product development, and software design. Shaka Guide is a unique technology that automatically plays audio tours based on GPS locations of the driving customer.
Past experience includes founder of Mobile Matic LLC. This company created a proprietary App Creation Platform that mobilizes meeting and event information for conference attendees. This leverages the Android, Blackberry, and iPhone operating system to provide customized conference content to groups and conference destinations.
After graduating from BYU Hawaii School of Business in Accounting, Andrew went on to self-study and pass all four parts of the Uniform CPA exam.
As a student he attended two internships in Asia: a financial services internship with Black and Decker Corporation in the Suzhou, China and U.S. Commercial Services in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Specialties: Sales & Marketing, Development Manager, Business Development, Accounting, Fluent Chinese (Mandarin), Entrepreneurship, Software Design, UX Design, Eagle Scout.
Evan Leong

Brian Gain Hawaii
Evan Leong is the CEO of Brain Gain Hawaii, specializing in executive recruitment, consulting, and coaching. A certified practitioner in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Brainspotting, he coaches business owners and senior leaders.
Born and raised in Hawaii, Evan launched Hawaii’s first business podcast, Greater Good Radio, and is a Telly Award-winning TV producer and host. As a published author, he was recognized as the US SBA Small Business Journalist of the Year for Region 9.
In 2020, he initiated Save Hawaii Jobs and Businesses, providing over $1 million in pro bono legal and accounting support to businesses during the pandemic, helping to save thousands of local businesses.
Evan serves on the boards of Kahi Mohala and the UH Shidler College of Business Alumni Association, where he also runs the undergraduate mentor program.
