Bob Harrison became Chief Executive Officer in January 2012 and named Chairman of First Hawaiian Bank in May 2014. A 23-year veteran of the company, joining First Hawaiian Bank in 1996, he has over 29 years of financial industry experience working for banks in New York and in Hawaii.
He served in the U.S. Navy before earning a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA from Cornell University in New York.

Louise K.Y. Ing is a partner in Dentons' Honolulu office. Louise's practice focuses on helping businesses, nonprofits and individuals resolve disputes, and get back to work as well as prevent future conflict. Her litigation and dispute resolution experience includes contracts, commercial transactions, leases, employment, real estate, creditors' rights and bankruptcy law, proprietary information, non-competition and confidentiality agreements, and intellectual property matters. She also serves as chief outside legal counsel to Hawai`i-based online game development company Tetris Online, Inc.
Born in Honolulu, Louise earned her JD from UC, Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law, and her BA, magna cum laude, in American studies, from Yale University.
Mark Yamakawa
President and Chief Executive Officer
Hawaii Dental Service
Mark Yamakawa has been the president and chief executive officer of Hawaii Dental Service (HDS) since November 2014. Prior to joining HDS, Yamakawa was executive vice president and chief operating officer of The Queen's Health System, parent company of The Queen's Medical Center, since 2011. He had been with Queen's for nearly 30 years and started as a senior management engineer in 1985.
Yamakawa holds a master's degree in Finance/Decision Sciences from the University of Hawaii, Manoa, and a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley.
