With nearly two decades of Hawaii real estate development and investment experience, Alana Kobayashi Pakkala is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer of The Kobayashi Group, where she is responsible for managing and overseeing all real estate development projects, from market opportunity through entitlements, design, sales and marketing, construction and post-completion oversight.
Alana's prodigious achievements and expertise across the Hawai'i-based real estate/development/investment firm's multimillion-dollar project portfolio span multiple facets of the company's disciplines and services, including architectural and interior design management, proforma and construction project management, and sales and marketing management.
Todd Nacapuy

Prior to joining HEMIC, Todd Nacapuy most recently served in the public sector, as Chief Information Officer in the State of Hawai`i's Office of Enterprise Technology Services. Appointed by Governor David Ige, Todd led the State's technology team, putting systems and resources in place for a more effective, efficient and open government.
He developed statewide initiatives to leverage economies of scale and reduce waste, including implementing a 'paperless' environment and accelerating the State's move to a single communications platform to provide long-term budget sustainability, fortified security, expanded applications and services, and tools for collaboration.

Prior to Hawaiian Host Mr. Schultz was President and owner of Honolulu Coffee, the world’s leading “Farm to Cup” coffee company. Under Mr. Schultz’s leadership, Honolulu Coffee grew from 5 stores in 2008 to one of the most unique, fully integrated specialty coffee operations is the world.
In 2015 Honolulu Coffee opened its 9,000 sqft Coffee Experience Center for its customers to learn more about growing coffee in Hawaii, the steps it takes to bring Hawaiian coffee to your cup and what makes Honolulu Coffee unique.
Prior to Honolulu Coffee, Mr. Schultz was President of LatteLand in Kansas City, MO, where he got his start in the coffee business. LatteLand was a pioneer in the third wave coffee industry and was sold to Kaldis Coffee in 2012. Mr. Schultz started his career in New York working on equity investments and leveraged buyouts for BNP Paribas Merchant Banking Group and Banc of America Securities.
