Special guest, Anne Perreira-Eustaquio, Director of the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, joins the Chamber to provide an overview of the Unemployment Insurance Compensation Trust Fund post COVID-19 and an explanation of measures included in the Governor’s package to address financing issues related to the integrity of the fund.

Department of Labor and Industrial Relations
Gov. David Ige appointed Anne E. Perreira-Eustaquio as director of the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations (DLIR). Perreira-Eustaquio has been serving as DLIR’s acting director since last month.
Previously, she was the department’s deputy director and has spent her career in various capacities in DLIR’s unemployment division, most notably as administrator of the unemployment insurance program.
Perreira-Eustaquio was born and raised in Hilo and is a graduate of Waiākea High School. She also attended Chaminade University of Honolulu where she earned a bachelor's in business administration in accounting and a master's of business administration.
