Led by trainer Dean Ahlgren, this session will show how entrepreneurs are using AI to save time, improve customer experience, and drive new opportunities.

Dean Ahlgren has spent two decades doing one thing well: getting knowledge out of experts' heads and into a form everyone else can use.
As a senior instructional designer at Academy of Art University, he built more than 200 online courses while enrollment grew past 18,000 students. Most of that work was translation — sitting with professionals who knew their craft cold but couldn't explain it, and rebuilding what they knew into courses a beginner could follow.
AI is the same problem. The tools are powerful but documented by engineers, for engineers. Dean's trainings turn that theory into plain language and simple analogies, so a busy owner actually understands what the tools are doing, not just which buttons to press.
He lives in Kailua with his wife and two sons, and recently founded MakaWorks, an AI training practice for Hawaii businesses.
