Chamber of Commerce Hawaii
National Civics Bee® Hawaii State Finals
Chamber of Commerce Hawaii’s Events unite the business community to enhance the state’s economic climate by fostering success for businesses and business leaders alike. Attend or sponsor a Chamber event to promote your company, build brand awareness, market to your target demographics, expand your network and invest in your local community.

Join us in supporting Hawaii’s middle school essay finalists as they showcase their civic knowledge and present innovative solutions to Hawaii’s biggest challenges before a panel of judges from the legislature and community at the National Civics Bee Hawaii, presented by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
The Chamber of Commerce Hawaii, in partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, hosts this nonpartisan, statewide civics competition for middle school students.
Finalists were selected from 70+ student applicants who responded to a three-question essay prompt proposing ideas to improve their communities. Applications closed on February 4th, 2025, and after a competitive review, top students will advance to the Hawaii State Finals for trophies and prizes. The winner will go on to represent Hawaii at the National Championship in Washington, D.C. this fall, competing for top honors and big prizes!
