The Unite for Bleeding Disorders walk brings our community together. It UNITES our ohana with bleeding disorders and chapters with family, friends, neighbors and coworkers to support important programs and services to help people with hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, and other rare bleeding disorders in our community. UNITE FOR HOPE. UNITE FOR COMMUNITY. UNITE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Supported programs consist of statewide and island out-reach with ohana educational meetings, Koko Ohana Family Camp, Island Teen Leadership Summit, Future Leaders, our NEW youth camp in 2020, as well as financial assistance programs for those families in need.
We will have the UNITE walk on all islands, walking together united on the same day and at the same time!
The National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) Hawaii Chapter is dedicated to better treatments and providing community support and resources for bleeding disorders Ohana across all islands. We strive to prevent the complications of these disorders through education, advocacy and community outreach to every island. We were founded out of a need to raise awareness for voices not heard. We have continued to make a difference with the help of our donors and volunteers that make our mission possible. We look forward to your partnership as, together, we improve the lives of people with bleeding disorders.
