Hawaii for Hawaii was launched in 2015 to further advance community responses to homelessness across Hawaii. Through the support of businesses and individuals, IHS has launched new programs and services, including Hawaii’s first and only Street Medicine team that brings the latest in psychiatric medications to homeless who have suffered for many years from mental illnesses. Funds raised will also support efforts in helping more homeless addicts access treatment and support services needed to reintegrate back into Hawaii’s community. Through their work, progress is being made. Through the public’s continued support, their work will also create a stronger, safer community that all can all enjoy and thrive.
