The Chamber of Commerce Hawaii and Movers & Shakas presents the Hanai-A-Classroom Guest Speaker Series! These Guest Speakers are purpose-driven remote workers, especially returning kama’aina, who come to Hawaii and actively contribute to the community.
This year we welcome Tori Hall, Tina Ryu, Anthony Valera, Charis Krysher, and Lauren Watanabe to conduct a Guest Speaker Presentation open to all Chamber Schools and interested individuals. Our guest speakers come from the following companies: Cameo, Google. Glassdoor, Hx5, and Goodwin Procter LLP, and these presentations are geared towards the high-school age group.
This week, we welcome Lauren Watanabe. She is an Attorney at Goodwin Procter LLP who will be speaking to us about her life journey and experience post-high school. Lauren is a returning kama’aina who attended Roosevelt High School on Oahu and firmly believes that creating a more innovative and sustainable Hawai’i starts with making meaningful investments in Hawai’i’s public school students
