The COVID-19 pandemic has compelled us to alter our daily work lives and find new, improved uses for all our familiar workplace technologies. Many changes are likely to be long-lasting, whether the shift to distance learning, to remote health care, or to mobilization of work-from-home infrastructures. With the implementation of stay-at-home and work-from-home orders, businesses have had to adapt and implement radical changes to ensure the ability to keep their doors open, productivity high, and safety and security of their employees.
As we continue the search for the "new normal" we will need to continue to focus on the important role technology plays after COVID and what comes next. Join us on this interactive FocusOn webinar and learn more from our panel of experts on existing technology and what we can expect in the near future.
Adrian DiTucci, Microsoft, will present on virtual team collaboration – utilizing tools like MS- Teams, PowerApps, and others and why security is important on protecting customer data. Stanley Lau, Hawaii Tech Support, will share technology trends and cost-effective solutions to effectively enable your remote workforce. Ellen Ng, HTDC, joins the panel to share how some of our manufacturers in Hawaii have leveraged e-commerce and pivoted to direct-to-consumer models to sustain and grow their businesses. And lastly, Ian Kitajima, Oceanit will present on how his organization is trying to deliver the future by pursuing technology initiatives that could alter the kinds of jobs available here in Hawaii.
Enjoy the open discussion Q&A format with Zoom breakout rooms for additional networking and discussion. Select your Breakout Room speaker and discussion upon registration.
