Annual Executive Roast & Toast Honoring Stanford Carr as former Board of Directors from 2016 to 2022.
This year, we will be honoring former Chamber Board of Director Member, Stanford Carr, President & CEO of Stanford Carr Development. We hope you can join us for an evening of fun and laughter as we talk story about Hawaii’s top gun of development, on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Mariposa Restaurant in Neiman Marcus. This year’s theme is “Top Gun” so please dust off your favorite bomber jacket and bring your best vintage Aloha shirt.
Stanford Carr is one of the most dynamic real estate developers in Hawaii today, but he is also one of Hawaii’s most treasured philanthropists. His personal motto is “No Guts – No Glory” and this mantra earned him 11 Western National awards and 46 local BIA awards. The Chamber is thrilled to be honoring, roasting, and toasting Stanford in appreciation of his dedication to the Chamber organization and to all of Hawaii.

Since 1990 Stanford Carr Development has completed over 5000 homes and is responsible for some of the most recognizable residential communities in Hawaii, including The Peninsula at Hawai’i Kai, Kehalani Masterplan, Iwalani in Kapolei, Waikoloa Colony Villas, Wailea Fairway Villas, and many more. Most recently he’s completed Halekauwila Place, a 204 unit affordable rental project located in Kakaako and Keauhou Place, Hawaii’s first Mixed Use Transit Oriented Development. Presently, Hale Kewalo, an affordable rental project in the heart of Kakaako is near completion. Ongoing projects include The Cottages at Mauna Olu in Makaha and Kahoma Village in Lahaina, Maui. Stanford’s projects have earned numerous national, western national, and local awards including the 2017 LOCUS Developer of the Year award by Smart Growth America, 16 western national awards including the coveted Golden Nugget Grand award by the Pacific Coast Builders Conference, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development award, and numerous Building Industry Association awards including 3 time Grand Champion Awards. NAIOP Lifetime Achievement Holo Pono Award as well as New Project Award for Keauhou Place, New Project Award Commercial for Hale Kewalo and Hawaii Business Top 100 Realtors Developer of the Year to name a few.
