Register to attend the Chamber's newest series of events - Elevate: Management Training Series presented by Southwest Airlines.
The definition of effective leadership radically changed over the last couple of years. The pandemic spurred a new way of working with the rise of hybrid and remote work. Many senior managers retired making way for young leaders to accept more responsibility during an uncertain economic climate. Great leaders aren’t born, cultivating leadership skills requires training, resources, coaching and the willingness to grow and learn.
Join us as we tackle an important aspect of management, communication. Excellent communication skills are critical for managers to be able to lead a team competently. Effectively exchanging information is essential to becoming a good communicator and requires mastery of both oral and written communication.
Register to attend Communication Skills for Managers with guest speaker Sarah Guay, President & CEO, Hawaii Employers Council.
In this presentation you will learn:
- Communicating to Influence and Persuade
- Connecting with Others: Understanding Different Work Styles of Team Members
- Top Tips for Written Communication
- And more!
Registration includes plated lunch by The Pacific Club. Options are Classic Chicken Caesar Salad, Pacific Club Wrap Sandwich or Vegetarian Meal of the Day.
