Dr. Deb Friesen is an Internal Medicine physician who trained at the University of Colorado, including a Chief Residency year. She was in private practice for 11 years before joining Kaiser Permanente 14 years ago. As part of the Colorado Permanente Medical group she was on the Board of Directors for 5 years, and was Board Chair for two of those years.
She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and recently graduated with honors with her MBA through the University of Denver.
John Knorek

Torkildson Katz Hetherington Harris Knorek
John Knorek, a Director at the firm, provides counsel and representation to large and small employers in all aspects of employment and wrongful discharge law. His practice also includes collective bargaining negotiations, affirmative action compliance, mediation and arbitration. Mr. Knorek is a founding co-editor of the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce Desk Manual for Employers and its Model Employer Handbook.
Mr. Knorek serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Society of Human Resources Management - Hawaii and Blood Bank of Hawaii. He graduated from Georgetown University Law Center and University of Cincinnati.

Dr. Patrick Sullivan founded Oceanit in 1985, a self-funded "Mind to Market" company that produces technology from home-grown research, development and engineering, which employs over 160 scientist, engineers and professionals that provide innovative solutions in the fields of aerospace, energy, engineering, information technology and life sciences.
Named HawaiiBusiness Magazine's 2016 CEO of the Year, and under his leadership Oceanit medical spin-outs include NanoPoint, iFirst, and Hoana Medical. Dr. Sullivan is dedicated to the community with his extensive experience on boards and commissions including Ocean Research Advisory Panel, Parker Ranch, High Technology Development Corporation, Rehab of the Pacific, Hoana Medical, Inc., and IBIS Networks, Inc.
Dr. Sullivan received his Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Hawaii and his BS in Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
