Cheers! Support Hawaii Teachers through Teach for America Hawai'i
Teach For America (TFA) Hawaiʻi is nationally connected and locally rooted. We find, develop, and support equity-oriented leaders ? individually and in teams ? so they can transform education and expand opportunities with children, starting in the classroom. TFA Hawaiʻi - guided by our values of kuleana, ?ohana, and aloha, and alongside our partners - prepares Hawai'i's keiki to be authentic leaders of our local and global communities. A focus of our work this year surrounds early literacy. Providing relevant, high-quality texts to students, classrooms, and communities is a critical aspect of this charge. School and community partners in Wai'anae, Nānākuli, and West Hawaiʻi island will receive these books through 'ohana engagement events and programs like Reading Buddies, where high schoolers are paired with elementary students for organized reading time. Your donations of the five books listed below will go directly to those partners!
