Mahalo!\n\n\n\nJoin us for an empowering YP Professional Development Class presented by Kaiser Permanente "Breaking Barriers & Building Legacies: Writing Your Own Story as a Female Leader".\n\n\n\nIn honor of Women's History Month this March\, learn from Yvette Maskrey\, Vice-President of Corporate Development and Strategy for Inter-Island Solar Supply. \n\nThis special session celebrates the strength\, resilience\, and impact of women in leadership. Don't miss out on this opportunity to hear from a trailblazing female leader who forged her own path\, overcame challenges\, and shaped her industry.\n\nWhether you're an aspiring leader or a seasoned professional\, come be part of the conversation and take charge of writing your own leadership story.\n\n\n\nRegistration includes breakfast consisting of croissant and pastries\, lilikoi fruit salad\, yogurt with granola\, orange juice\, and coffee.\n\n\n\nBooks 4 Keiki Book Drive\n\nThe YP Wahine is collecting donations of new or gently loved books keiki aged 3-6 years old from March until May to support Books 4 Keiki! A designated YP member will be collecting books at this event\, please bring your donations if you have any.\n\n \n\nBooks 4 Keiki is a 501(c)3 organization which was co-founded by YP member Brandie Ota that helps to provide access to age-appropriate books for pre-k keiki in Title I schools in Hawaii.\n\n\n\n\n\nYvette Maskrey\n\nVice-President of Corporate Development and Strategy\n\nInter-Island Solar Supply\n\n\n\nYvette Maskrey is the Vice-President of Corporate Development and Strategy for The Solaray Corporation. Solaray and its business enterprises\, are at the forefront of revolutionizing the renewable energy landscape\, providing innovative solar technology and sustainable energy solutions to foster energy independence. In her role\, she provides strategic direction for external business opportunities and internal people and process alignment.\n\n\n\nPrior to her current position\, Yvette served as the District Manager for Honeywell International where she provided strategic direction and oversight for business development\, personnel\, operations and government relations. Over her 30+ year career in clean energy and water conservation\, Yvette has implemented utility customer programs with public\, private and municipal electric and water utilities in Hawaii\, Idaho and California helping to exceed their clean energy and water management goals.\n\n\n\nShe served as President of Hawaii Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE)\, the Advisory Board for the Hawaii Clean Energy Initiative a partnership between the State of Hawaii and the Department of Energy\, and as a Director for the Hawaii Solar Energy Association (HSEA).\n\n\n\nIn the community\, she serves on various boards including the Aloha Council of the Scouts of America\, the Patsy T. Mink Center for Business and Leadership\, Chaminade School of Business and Communication\, and ' lelo Community Media. She was also a 2022 mentor for the Sacred Hearts Academy Girls Got Grit program. Her experience as a Pacific Century Fellow in 2010 solidified her commitment to community service in Hawaii.\n\n\n\nMs. Maskrey received her B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
