Under his direction\, the district has intensified efforts to reduce crime\, address homelessness\, and enhance cleanliness\, greatly improving the area's appeal to both locals and visitors. Trevor's leadership has resulted in measurable success\, including a 37% reduction in homelessness throughout Waikiki\, a 48% decline in drug and alcohol-related crimes\, a 30% decrease in burglaries\, and a 19% drop in robberies.\n\n\n\nPrior to leading the Waikiki Business Improvement District\, Trevor was the Associate Vice President of Business Advocacy & Development at the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii\, where he shaped legislative and public policy priorities that affected the business landscape. His tenure at the Arizona Commerce Authority as Vice President of Business Attraction saw him successfully attracting over $1 billion in capital investments and creating thousands of jobs\, showcasing his capability in driving economic growth. Trevor has also served in significant roles for notable leaders such as Senator John McCain and Governor Doug Ducey\, enhancing his expertise in governance and policy implementation.\n\n\n\nTrevor holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Arizona State University\, where his participation in the U.S. Capitol Scholar Program and as a Flinn-Brown Fellow furthered his understanding of public policy and legislative processes. Trevor\, who is a YP himself at 32 years old\, enjoys an active community life with his wife Jaena and their one-year-old daughter Daisy. \n\n\n\n\nCasie Bui\n\nChief Operating Officer\n\nGoodwill Hawaii\n\n \n\nBorn and raised on the island of Guam and with deep familial roots on the island of Kauai\, Cassandra Bui often known as Casie has made Hawaii her home for over two decades. After earning her degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Hawaii Pacific University\, Casie embarked on a career in banking. Her professional journey then took her into the oil and energy sector\, where she started as a financial analyst at Aloha Petroleum. Over the next 17 years\, Casie grew with the company\, taking on diverse roles that spanned marketing\, public relations\, community support\, convenience store product procurement\, and various operational areas including commercial wholesale bulk sales\, logistics\, and business development.\n\n\n\nAbout a year ago\, Casie ventured into the non-profit world and joined Goodwill Hawaii as the Chief Operating Officer where she oversees human resources\, facilities\, construction\, safety\, contract services\, public relations and marketing. In this role\, she is dedicated to driving positive change and supporting the organization's mission.\n\n\n\nOutside of her professional life\, Casie treasures time with her husband\, Steven\, and their two children\, Presley and Bentley. The company\, named after the famous Diamond Head landmark on Oahu\, was founded in 1921 by three Japanese immigrants\, Hidegoro Murai\, Kikutaro Hiruya\, and Natsu Muramoto. They all enjoyed baking and had the vision to create Hawaii's first bakery focused on the perfect Hawaiian-made cracker.\n\n\n\nBy 1937\, Diamond Bakery had mastered the ability to bake crackers and cookies to the highest levels of taste and texture.
