She was born in Honolulu\, Hawaii. She was raised by her single mother and graduated from Pearl City High School. She enlisted in the Hawaii Air National Guard right after graduating high school and served for 20 years as a Cyber Transport Systems Technician.\n\n \n\nWhile serving in the Hawaii Air National Guard\, Tiera joined ABM Onsite Services in 2001 as the Administrative Assistant. She continued to work her way up through the company to serve as the Bookkeeper\, Office Manager\, Project Manager\, Janitorial Manager and Hawaii Branch Manager. Tiera was responsible for the overall janitorial and engineering operations where she managed over 300 employees. \n\n \n\nTiera left ABM in 2017 and started her own facilities maintenance company\, IFSH. IFSH provides janitorial\, landscaping\, maintenance and site management services for residential and commercial properties. Under Tiera's leadership\, IFSH grew from $54\,000 in 2017 to $2 million in 2019\, then to $4.9 million in 2021. IFSH is projected to reach $6.3 million by the end of 2022. In addition\, IFSH received their 8(A) certification in October 2021 and plans to expand their growth in government contracting. In just over 5 years\, IFSH currently has over 160 employees and services over 80 properties. IFSH placed #6 as Pacific Business News (PBN) Hawaii's Fastest Growing Companies in 2021. \n\n \n\nTiera is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and Community Associations Institute (CAI). She currently serves on the Board for Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA) and the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO). In 2019\, 2020\, and 2021 IFSH was awarded the IREM Workplace Environment Award for exemplary practices in leadership development\, employee engagement\, corporate culture and wellness programs.\n\n \n\nTiera encourages her employees\, clients and residents to give back to the community. In 2020\, they held an Aloha United Way campaign\, Institute of Human Services donation event and also donated 100 produce boxes to various residents in need who were impacted from the pandemic. In 2021\, they collected donations across their communities for Hale Kipa\, fundraised money for Make-A-Wish and Special Olympics Hawaii\, cooked for the families at the Ronald McDonald House Charities and collected Back-to-School donations for over 50 schools. In 2022\, they collected donations for Hoomalu O Na Kamalii\, a children's shelter on Oahu. Tiera was recently recognized as an honoree for PBN's 2021 Women Who Mean Business\, PBN's 2021 Business Leadership Hawaii Business Leader Small Business and Pacific Edge's 2021 Business Achievement Award for Businesswoman of the Year.\n\n\n\nLori M.K. Kahikina\, P.E.\n\nExecutive Director and Chief Executive Officer\n\nHonolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART)\n\n \n\nLori Kahikina is the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART). Ms. Kahikina is a proud graduate of Kamehameha Schools and the University of Hawaii. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and has a license in Civil Engineering.\n\nAt HART\, Ms. Kahikina is responsible for the design and construction of the remaining portion of the 20-mile\, 21 station Honolulu Rail Transit Project that spans from East Kapolei to Ala Moana Center.
