She also is a Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Hawaii\, John A. Burns School of Medicine. \n\n\n\nDr. Nguyen received her MD and PhD in immunology from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her clinical pathology residency at UCSF and transfusion medicine fellowship in the joint Blood Centers of the Pacific/UCSF program. She has served on the California Blood Bank Society Board of Directors.\n\n\n\n\n\nDoug Johnstone\n\nPresident of Hawaii Region\n\nThe Howard Hughes Corporation \n\n\n\nIn his role\, he oversees asset management\, financing and development initiatives. He has played an integral role in the growth of the master planned community known as Ward Village\, including mixed-use urban redevelopment\, surrounding retail and Kewalo Harbor. \n\n \n\nPreviously\, Doug managed value-add redevelopment efforts within the commercial real estate portfolio of Kamehameha Schools. Prior to Kamehameha Schools\, he served as Vice President of the boutique Los Angeles firm Cyburt Hall Partners\, where he focused on opportunistic investments and developments with institutional joint venture partners. \n\n \n\nBorn and raised in Honolulu\, Doug attended Punahou School and Stanford University\, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Economics with Honors.
