Please feel free to bring your own lunch to the talk story session and enjoy us for a virtual brown bag luncheon session.\n\n\n\n\n\nDr. Loretta Chen\n\nCo-Founder\n\nFutureskills\n\n\n\nSingaporean Dr Loretta Chen is an award-winning media veteran\, professor and author.\n\n\n\nShe was a Nominated Member of Parliament and voted one of Asia's Most Inspiring Women for her work in education\, arts\, advocacy and championing LGBTQIA rights.\n\n\n\nSince moving to Hawaii in 2016\, she started a theatre program in the UH-Leeward CC Waianae Moku campus\, is a keynote speaker for numerous high profile events and was awarded Outstanding Lecturer 2020. She was selected as one of the 15 leaders in the prestigious Patsy Mink Leadership Alliance.\n\n\n\nHer latest book\, Inspiring Women of Hawaii is available at Costco\, Target\, Amazon and good bookstores. Proceeds go to the Women of Waianae Scholarship fund. She is now working on her new book\, M/others to give a voice to "invisible" mothers from at risk communities.\n\n\n\nShe is co-founder of Futureskills 101 that provides free education support to communities of need and A Common Purpose that offers pro bono to low cost branding consultancy to budding entrepreneurs in developing countries. \n\n\n\n\n\nTrini Kaopuiki Clark \n\nPresident & CEO\n\nMake-A-Wish Hawaii\n\n\n\nAs President and CEO of Make-A-Wish Hawaii\, Trini Kaopuiki Clark leads a team of nearly 30 staff and more than 700 Hawaii volunteers to support the organization's mission of creating life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. A University of Hawaii graduate\, Clark is an accomplished local professional with nearly 20 years of communication experience in the Hawaii television industry and 10 years of nonprofit leadership.\n\n\n\nPrior to her role at Make-A-Wish\, Clark worked at KHON2 News as a host and producer\, where she was part of the group that created Hawaii's first lifestyle television show\, Living808. In her decade of hands-on experience in nonprofit leadership\, Clark managed overall strategy\, fundraising and event planning initiatives for a number of Hawaii-based nonprofits.\n\n\n\n\n\nElisia Flores\n\nVice-Chair and CEO\n\nL&L Franchise\, Inc\n\n\n\nElisia Flores is vice-chair and chief executive officer of L&L Franchise\, Inc. Under the L&L brand\, the company has 207 restaurants across the United States and Japan. Elisia joined L&L in 2014 as its chief financial officer.\n\n\n\nPrior to her roles at L&L\, Elisia worked for over 8 years at General Electric. She began her career at GE as part of the prestigious finance management program then worked as a corporate auditor\, traveling the world performing auditing and consulting work across multiple GE businesses. Elisia was promoted to a senior finance manager position responsible for the West region of GE - Power Generation Services\, overseeing a portfolio of assets with annual revenue in excess of $750 million.\n\n\n\nElisia is a member of the board of directors for American Savings Bank\, serving as the chair of the audit committee. In the community\, she serves on boards of Hawaii Pacific Health\, Diamond Head Theatre\, the Hawaiian Humane Society and the Hawaii Restaurant Association and on the advisory boards of the Patsy T. Mink Center for Business and Leadership\, the KCC Culinary Arts Program and the UH Family Business Center of Hawaii.\n\n\n\nElisia is co-author of the book "108 Tips on Business\, Travel\, and Culture in China" as well as multiple Real Estate education classes.
