He's responsible for managing the City's recycling programs to include curbside\, compliance of mandatory business recycling ordinances\, Opala.org\, recycling contracts\, public education and outreach.  His passion is garbage.  He lives his life as a solid waste coordinator at home.  He's well verse in green waste and food waste composting.  Reduce\, reuse\, recycling\, refuse and recovery is his way of life. \n\n \n\nHenry has a degree in Civil Engineering.  In California\, he's worked at recycling and composting facility.  On O'ahu\, he's worked as a engineer for the City in both solid waste and wastewater.  Everything and anything to do with waste\, Henry is that guy.\n\n\n\nJason Higa\n\nChief Executive Officer\n\nFCH Enterprises\n\n \n\nJason Higa is the CEO of FCH Enterprises\, which includes Zippy's Restaurants\, Napoleon's Bakery\, Food Solutions International\, A Catered Experience (ACE)\, and Kahala and Pearl City Sushi.\n\n\n\nZippy's Restaurants was founded by brothers\, Francis and Charlie Higa\, in 1966 and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2016.\n\n\n\nPrior to joining FCH Enterprises\, Jason worked as a Honolulu attorney from 1990 to 1995\, working in the areas of litigation and transactional law. In 1995\, Jason returned to FCH Enterprises and worked in different positions within the family business before assuming the position of CEO and President in 2003. Jason currently serves in the position of CEO for FCH Enterprises. As a second generation family business leader\, Jason strives to preserve the core values of the company founders\, while continuing to evolve the company toward the future.\n\n\n\n\n\nAdrian Hong\n\nPresident\n\nIsland Plastic Bags\, Inc.\n\nAdrian is president of Island Plastic Bags\, Inc.\, a local\, family-owned company that manufactures plastic bags and sells paper bags\, compostable cutlery\, and Colgate-Palmolive Products as well.
