DESCRIPTION:Ronald McDonald House Charities  Hawaii 2024 Gala\, an evening of Hope & Heroes\, will be held on November 23\, 2024\, at the Alohilani Resort. This year RMHC will be honoring The Lee Family\, Dr. Darrell\, Cathy\, and Nicki Lee. With steadfast guidance and support from her parents\, Nicki created and grew a kid-powered nonprofit called Kidz For A Cause that raised more than $360\,000 to renovate our recreation room at Judd Hillside. Mom a prominent interior designer donated her time and expertise to support the expansion by bringing additional funds and significant in-kind services while thoughtfully designing the room to spark hope and healing. Families struggling with pain\, sickness\, and stress now enjoy an inviting\, safe\, relaxing\, fun\, and magical space to gather and play\, thanks to the dedication and generosity of the Lee family.\n\n\n\nThe Gala is RMHC's largest fundraising effort of the year with proceeds going directly towards providing lodging and daily support services for hundreds of families each year.
