Akili's talents for finding new business and generating sales revenue continued to cultivate throughout his career. Akili went on to work for FOX SportsNet\, and Comcast SportsNet.\n\n\n\nSeveral years ago\, Akili and his wife took a 6-month sabbatical on Maui and never left. They fell in love with the Hawaiian culture and way of life. Akili is currently a Local Sales Manager with Spectrum Reach Hawaii\; he joined the company 7 years ago as an Account Executive.\n\n\n\nIn 2019 and 2022\, Akili won The Reach Elite incentive program\, which rewards the top sellers. During his time with Spectrum\, Akili earned A Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Business Administration/ Management & Marketing from the University of Hawaii.
