He previously represented Hawaii's Second Congressional District (remainder of O'ahu and all other islands) from 2002 to 2007. \n\n \n\nCongressman Case was born and raised in Hilo and graduated from Hawai'i Preparatory Academy in Kamuela\, Williams College in Massachusetts and the University of California College of the Law\, San Francisco. He practiced law in Honolulu for over two decades\, served as Hawai'i State Representative from Manoa from 1994 to 2002 in various positions including Majority Leader\, and worked for five years as Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Outrigger\, one of Hawaii's oldest and largest hotel and resort companies.\n\n \n\nCongressman Case is married to Audrey (Nakamura)\, his Hawai'i Prep classmate who worked for four decades as a flight attendant with Pan American and United. They have four children\, two daughters-in law and two grandchildren.\n\n\n\n\n\nJennings Imel\n\nExecutive Director\n\nU.S. Chamber of Commerce\n\n\n\nBefore joining the U.S. Chamber staff in 2013\, Jennings worked in Washington\, DC at the U.S. Association of Former Members of Congress and at the public affairs firm of Mercury\, Clark & Weinstock. Prior to moving to DC\, Jennings worked in the California State Assembly\; he also managed and worked on several successful congressional and state legislative campaigns\, mostly in the Southern California region.\n\n\n\nJennings received a master's degree in international affairs from The George Washington University and bachelor's degrees in political science and German from the University of California\, Riverside.\n\n\n\n\n\nTonga Hopoi\n\nVice President\, Economic Development\, Government and Community Relations\n\nChamber of Commerce Hawaii\n\n\n\nTonga began her career in public policy as a White House policy intern in the Office of the First Lady Mrs. Michelle Obama working on initiatives such as "Reach Higher" and "Let Girls Learn". Beyond her work in the Office of the First Lady\, Tonga was the first Tongan to hold a position in the White House and is recognized in the White House Records.\nIn August of 2017\, Tonga moved to Hawai'i and served as Committee Clerk for the Chair of the Senate Committee(s) on Transportation and Energy\, and in 2018\, she served as the Chief of Staff for the Senate Majority Leader in the Hawai'i State Senate. In 2019\, Tonga presented workshops on parliamentary practice\, and legislative procedure at the United Nations Development Program Regional Conference on Parliamentary Oversight in Auckland\, New Zealand. In 2021\, Tonga was selected in  the Oregon State University (OSU) Orange & Black Awards for the Don & Shirley Young Alumni Award. In February of 2022\, she organized the Senate's donation and relief efforts for the Kingdom of Tonga after the catastrophic flooding from the eruption of a nearby underground volcano. After Tonga's tenure in the Hawai'i State Senate\, she worked at the Honolulu City Council and Kamehameha Schools.\n\n\n\nTonga was raised with her two sisters by her mother and late stepfather in Portland\, OR.
