Raised on Maui and educated through Hawaiian language immersion\, Kamakak hau brings Hawaiian language\, music\, storytelling\, and aloha to audiences throughout Hawai i\, the continental United States\, and internationally. A couple of his many career highlights include winning the Richard Ho opi i Falsetto Contest and providing both the voice acting and singing for Tamatoa in the Hawaiian-language version of Disney's Moana. He is also the composer of "He Mele No Hina\," a widely performed Hawaiian composition that has been featured by numerous h lau\, including performances at the Merrie Monarch Festival. Kamakak hau's recorded work includes Wahi Mahalo\, and his performances range from intimate gatherings to corporate functions\, cultural celebrations\, festivals\, weddings\, and large-scale special events.
