About Us
The mission of the Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) Hawaii is to enhance the lives of military members and their families in spirit, mind and body through programs relevant to the unique challenges of military life. Established in Hawaii in 1917, ASYMCA Hawaii offers quality social, educational and recreational opportunities to over 50,000 U.S. Service members and their dependents on Oahu, connecting families with community to cope with the stress of deployment and ensure children have a strong educational foundation.
For over a century, our range of programs have offered quality social, educational and recreational opportunities, bringing programs directly to the US Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard and National Guard at three branches on military installations on Oahu and various field sites located near military housing developments. Last year alone, we served a record 89,210 servicemembers and their families and did so 590,408 times.
