Christine Camp is President and CEO of Avalon Development Company. Avalon is a developer, investor, owner, third-party manager, and broker of industrial parks, apartment buildings, and office and retail commercial centers focused only in Hawaii.
Avalon is actively developing several properties with a combined development value of approximately $350 million dollars and manages over one million square feet of commercial spaces and approximately 900 rental units in Hawaii.
Christine previously served as Chairwoman of the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, Chairwomen of the Honolulu Police Commission, and was a gubernatorial appointee on the HCDA board. She was president of Hawaii Developers’ Council, and a Chair of the Urban Land Institute Hawaii. For the past 14 years she served on the board of Central Pacific Bank (NYSE:CPF) and is the current chairwomen of Counselors of Real Estate Hawaii, and on the boards of YMCA, Blue Planet Foundation, Catholic Charities Advisory, and the Diamond Head Theatre.
